so i decided that Fridays would be a good day to put up a classic lost skills podcast episode. i have been getting people e mailing me telling me that they are new and going back and listening to old shows so i thought could help. hope you all enjoy the show

 

today i talk about buying a survival seed bank. why i think you should have one, and why you need to grow a garden so you know how to use one when the time comes . i  discuss making your own and the basic construction of a seed bank. i also talk a little about saving seeds during the episode and where you can find seed exchanges to help your seed bank grow.

Hello everyone.

todays episode is on food storage, but that’s not the only big news there is a listener contest in this show also so don’t fast forward through the news and updates in the beginning. but anyway , i talk about the different things that you can use to help grow your food storage to get past 90 days. i am sorry about the background noise i was driving my 92 s-10 which is louder than the car i normally  drive also i am still getting over my bronchitis and my voice shows it towards the end of the show.

Hi everyone,

today i talk about container tomatoes, growing tomatoes upside down and some of my thoughts on tomatoes in general.i also give you some of my observations from my eperiance of growing container tomatoes . i am sorry about the background noise on the podcast but when i tried to take it out there was a echo that was there and i could not get it out so i ended leaving the background noise there.

today’s episode is my thoughts and plans for raised bed gardening. i am just getting frustrated with my crappy soil and am having some animal problems . raised bed gardening would definately fix some of these problems for me .also i have been wanting to build some hugelkultur beds so i guess this gives me an excuse to build them now.i also talk about some of the accessories that you can make for your raised beds that i came up with .
