Todays episode is a on some updates of what i have going on here around my place and it is also a review of the tv show doomsday castle.i am trying to get out some more regular podcasts so any suggestions for show topics would be appreciated.
today’s episode is titled what is wrong with society today. and by whats wrong i mean the fact that we are loosing some of the skills that made America great . i have always realized this but it was really made evident to me when i was watching hell on wheels. it is a tv show about the race to build the first transcontinental rail road across the United States. now i know its just a tv show but it dies depict some of the very harsh conditions that the people building it endured. while watching it i thought that there is no way you could get anyone to do that nowadays. but anyway if you haven’t seen it i do recommend watching it. now today’s podcast is a little about that and allot about most peoples reluctance to do things for themselves, they want to do it the easy way and pay someone to build or repair their things, or they want to replace it with something new . the whole premise of my show is on resisting doing that so i hope you enjoy today’s episode.
also i have been busy lately and have not had time to record and edit episodes lately but rest assured the podcast isn’t going anywhere.if you have any ideas for show topics send them to the email below , they are always appreciated .
Today’s episode is on my homestead updates, i wasn’t feeling really good last week so i recorded this show quick because i didn’t want to leave you hanging without a show. i am in need of some topic ideas if anyone has some ideas e mail me.
today is a different kind of show where i do a review of the backwoodsman magazine and instructables.com. i subscribe to the backwoodsman and i have for years.its really a do it yourself , homesteading ,woodsbumming, type of magazine.i also like instructables.com because it has TONS of really cool how projects from building your own bug out bag to making stuff for your shop to making your own iron man suit.
today’s episode is on buying a welder. there are allot of different types of welders to consider when buying a welder. there are arc welders, tig welders, wire feed welders and oxy- acetylene welders. and they all have different uses for different projects. they all have different thicknesses of metal that they are better suited to welding and some have allot of different options . this is just a beginners guide to kinda help you determine what you need for the various jobs you may have around the workshop.
today’s episode is on my thoughts on bug out vehicles. also i would like to apologize for the poor audio quality i cleaned up everything as good as i could. but anyways i talk about common bug out vehicles and some not so common bug out vehicles.
so i decided that Fridays would be a good day to put up a classic lost skills podcast episode. i have been getting people e mailing me telling me that they are new and going back and listening to old shows so i thought could help. hope you all enjoy the show
today i talk about buying a survival seed bank. why i think you should have one, and why you need to grow a garden so you know how to use one when the time comes . i discuss making your own and the basic construction of a seed bank. i also talk a little about saving seeds during the episode and where you can find seed exchanges to help your seed bank grow.
