EPISODE 178 GETTING READY FOR SPRING

Hello everyone,

Today’s episode is on getting ready for spring, or at least that’s how it started. I guess a more proper title would have been how to check out your car after winter but i already named it so, oh well. Today i talk about checking your car out after a long winter. The things you should inspect after a lot of driving in the ice and snow, hitting potholes and and driving down  frost heaved roads. These are the things i look at on my car every spring and how to inspect them. They are things that anyone with a flashlight, some rags, a floor jack, and some jack stands can do regardless of your skill level.

EPISODE- 177 JAMES FROM SURVIVALPUNK.COM PART 2

Hi everyone,

Today’s show is my second part of my  interview with James Burnette from survivalpunk.com. In today’s podcast i ask James questions like;

What got you prepping ?
Why you started survival punk .com.
Your path to dual homestead.
Things you salvaged from the trailer.
Details on your tiny house.
How you look at your preps now being paleo.
And we find also find plenty of topics go off on tangents about. That seems to be what we do when we get together and talk. You can listen to my interview here. since we do have that tendency to do that that during interviews it was 1 hr 45 minutes long so i split it into 2 parts.

EPISODE-172 LESSONS FROM THE SHACK

Hi everyone,

Todays episode is lessons from the shack. What is the shack you may ask? Its my first tiny house before tiny houses were cool.I built it when i was 16 years old, well at least half of it anyway. In fact it had a battery bank before they were cool too.We had an outhouse! It was almost entirely off grid except one standard household extension cord to charge the battery bank.Have i peaked your interest? Listen to todays episode to hear more about it!

Just so everyone knows we have switched hosting and there may be some issues with the site so let us know. also we have lost the pictures in the forum during the move so if you want them up there you may have to go and repost them.

EPISODE-124 WHAT IS WRONG WITH SOCIETY TODAY ??

Hello everyone,

today’s episode is titled what is wrong with society today. and by whats wrong i mean the fact that we are loosing some of the skills that made America great . i have always realized this but it was really made evident to me when i was watching hell on wheels. it is a tv show about the race to build the first transcontinental rail road across the United States. now i know its just a tv show but it dies depict some of the very harsh conditions that the people building it endured. while watching it i thought that there is no way  you could get anyone to do that nowadays. but anyway if you haven’t seen it i do recommend watching it. now today’s podcast is a little about that and allot about most peoples reluctance to do things for themselves, they want to do it the easy way and pay someone to build or repair their things, or they want to replace it with something new . the whole premise of my show is on resisting doing that  so i hope you enjoy today’s episode.

also i have been busy lately and have not had time to record and edit episodes lately but rest assured the podcast isn’t going anywhere.if you have any ideas for show topics send them to the email below , they are always appreciated .
