EPISODE 258 MAT BEST AND ARTICLE 15 CLOTHING

In today’s episode i want to talk about some people that help inspire me to get shit done. I know this isn’t very “survivally”  but i do want to remind you this show isn’t all about survival and prepping , its also about living in the here and now. One of the people that inspire me is Mat Best, CEO of article 15 clothing , and  star of his own YouTube channel  mbest11x .

He is not alone in his success though, along with his friends and business partners Jarred Taylor, Vincent “Rocco” Vargas , and Ross Patterson, they also have a wildly popular podcast called Drinkin Bros.  It is made up of many members of the military community, and includes all of the branches of the us military. Now  this doesn’t mean this is just a military show they have a lot of civilian listeners too. you can find all of their stuff on  Facebook, and Instagram too just search for drinkin bros.

EPISODE-257 GETTING ALONG WITH YOUR NEIGHBORS AT YOUR BUGOUT LOCATION

Today’s episode is on getting along with your neighbors at your bugout location. this is very important if you ever have to use your bugout location in tough times Glen Tate addresses this in his book 299 days, but i actually hear about this very little in the prepping community so i figured i would talk about it on the show. I have some experience in this as i grew up in a small town (pop. 600ish) my whole life and have lived this. In some ways this is a very frustrating topic for me. I also try to give you some solutions on how to get along better with the locals at your bugout location. There is goung to be a part two looking at it from the bugout locations owner, so watch for that one too.

One thing i need to say though, i think i may have come off a little bitchy on this episode and thats not my intention. i think it was a mixture of having a bad day and a very aggravating topic. So if you are a person who has a remote bugout location don’t take this personally if your one of the good ones.

Also there is swearing in this one so don’t let the kiddos listen in . Don’t say i didn’t warn you…….

EPISODE 251 DIY CAR CARE

Today i talk about diy car care. I talk about not getting ripped off by the shop when you take your car in.

I talk about the benefits of having some basic knowledge which will help you tell the mechanic whats wrong so he can better diagnose the vehicle.

I mention the benefit of having a service manual even if you never plan on fixing your own vehicle. I talk about saving money by cross referencing manufacturer part numbers and buying aftermarket parts and fluids.

I talk about the benefits of owning an engine code scanner. There are benefits of being able to read your engine codes and have an indication of whats wrong before you take your vehicle to the shop. I give a recommendation of which type of code scanner i would buy which is Here. This one is the current one i use for all of my vehicles.

You can buy my old code scanner which does obd 1&2 Here.

Here are a couple of repair videos i made.
