today’s episode is on my thoughts on getting home and bugging out . these are just a collection of the things i have been thinking of lately while thinking about the need to bugout and the need to get home from my job or wherever i may be. i am sure that this topic could be expanded on further and i probably will do so in the future.
i am also sorry there was no show last week but i have been very busy with spring cleaning and all around my place and just have not had the time to get the audio edited and posted up for you guys.
Hello everyone, today’s episode is on emp preparedness. i do have to warn you that i did get a little ranty in the first part of the show so if you let small children listen when your listening, be warned i did say a few words that little children probably shouldn’t hear. but anyway today’s show is just on my thoughts on emp preparedness and the things i think you could do to better prepare for it.
today’s episode is on the commonality of caliber and the ammo shortage that we are all seeing. so what do i mean about commonality of caliber, well to me it means a couple of things first it means having multiple guns in one caliber and second it means owning a gun that is a commonly used caliber . and the second part of the show is my thoughts on the ammo shortage and how we can all help it end a little quicker.
Also i would like to mention i have a new voice recorder and i have been playing around with it to try to make the audio better when i am driving so please bear with me i think its better than it has been in the past but i want to continually try to improve it for you guys.
today is a different kind of show where i do a review of the backwoodsman magazine and instructables.com. i subscribe to the backwoodsman and i have for years.its really a do it yourself , homesteading ,woodsbumming, type of magazine.i also like instructables.com because it has TONS of really cool how projects from building your own bug out bag to making stuff for your shop to making your own iron man suit.
today’s show is on an article i found on the website knowledge weighs nothing.com,and the article is called Advice From Experienced Preppers For Newbie Preppers. it is a top 50 list of advice from the experienced preppers on their Facebook page to the new preppers that find their page and they made a short article on it. i basically go through the list and give my comments on what the advice they have given. some things i disagree with but a majority of them i do agree with . here is a link to the original article.
also i recorded this at home so the audio quality is very good , i just got my new voice recorder and i have to figure out all the bells and whistles yet
today’s episode is on black out kits. black out kits are important for if the lights go out for a few hours or a few days . in today’s episode i talk about all the different things you can use to build a blackout kit . i also tell you the things i have in my own personal black out kit , and how it can help you start to ease in a reluctant spouse into the world of prepping. also i know the sound quality sucks i was trying out a new digital voice recorder and it sucked . i returned it to the store after i took today’s episode off of it. so i apologize ahead of time for the poor audio , i am trying to get a better audio recorder to eliminate the background noise a little bit so please bear with me.
today’s episode is on my thoughts on bug out vehicles. also i would like to apologize for the poor audio quality i cleaned up everything as good as i could. but anyways i talk about common bug out vehicles and some not so common bug out vehicles.
todays episode is on food storage, but that’s not the only big news there is a listener contest in this show also so don’t fast forward through the news and updates in the beginning. but anyway , i talk about the different things that you can use to help grow your food storage to get past 90 days. i am sorry about the background noise i was driving my 92 s-10 which is louder than the car i normally drive also i am still getting over my bronchitis and my voice shows it towards the end of the show.
here is a pic of the prize , contest ends 2-24-13 at midnight
today’s episode is on the importance of community and building community in general . whether you are an average ordinary person or a hardcore prepper , community is important for a lot of reasons , especially since people are very social creatures . this episode is my thoughts on the importance of community and ways to help build community .
also i am sorry about missing Mondays show i have been sick for a week and a half now and i have been just feeling crappy. i managed to record a show for next Monday but my voice is pretty shot in it.
there is no real topic today except i talk about how to help others get more prepared by giving them prepper items for Christmas. otherwise there is no real topic today ,just me talking about what i have going on during the holidays.
