EPISODE-123 TEN CHEAP THINGS TO PUT IN A CACHE

Hello everyone

todays episode is on ten cheap things to put in a cache. but these are things that you could store in general that wont cost you a lot of money but are essential to your survival.this episode is geared towards people that have small houses like me ,or people that have ideas on burying some of their preps in caches. these are preps that have extremely long shelf lives so they don’t have to be disturbed often and cheap enough that they are easily replaced if something happens to them.

And as always i would like to hear your comments and suggestions so e-mail me at lostskillspodcast@gmail.com or jeff@lostskillspodcast.com . also visit my face book page  http://www.facebook.com/#!/lostskillspodcast or comment  on my web page. also feel free to comment in the show notes. i hope you all like today’s show and  thank you for listening

  1. I made mead with raw honey as the sugar in alcohol fermentation. It is very simple to do. You can check it out at:

I also have tried out making Sauerkraut and kimchi which uses salt and is another form of fermentation:

Fermentation is something which everyone should try out. There are a few simple concepts and then you can try out all sorts of things. It looks and smells scarier than it really is.

  2. You mentioned Imodium to be used in case you got some bad water, but forgot to mention something so basic and cheap as some water purification tablets from Walmart (camping section) and a water container. Although I did recieve two phone calls while you were talking/rambling so maybe I missed it. LOL
